The aim of the Applied Partnership Awards is to support high quality applied research projects.
The Health Research Board (HRB) is a quango responsible for funding, co-ordination, and oversight of medical research in the Republic of Ireland.

Scholarship Award: These awards will cover the following:
- The maximum amount that can be requested from the HRB per application is €200,000 (inclusive of overheads).

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following area for these awards:
- Applications should be made on behalf of a team which is made up of researchers and knowledge users. The applicant team should designate a Lead Applicant from the research team, and a Lead Applicant from the Knowledge User team. While we acknowledge that there are many individuals in Knowledge User organizations that are also experienced researchers, it is important in this scheme that there are two distinct Lead Applicants.
- The applicant team must demonstrate clearly that the appropriate and relevant partners are involved in order to achieve the objectives set out in the research proposal and in a manner that aligns well with the sections included in the application on relevance, knowledge translation plan and impact.
